Mike Flanagan bets on a trilogy for Carrie

Mike Flanagan is planning a three-season series to adapt Carrie by Stephen King. In an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, he explained that his ideal script follows a three-part arc, a true trilogy. He added that the series could extend beyond the first season if Amazon allows it. According to Écran Large, the series will debut on October 7 2026 on Amazon Prime Video. The project continues the long line of adaptations of the novel, from Brian De Palma's 1976 film to earlier television versions.
