MGM+ prepares a new Spider-Man series for Prime Video
After the success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the platform is planning a new TV project.
MGM+ would be preparing a new Spider-Man series for Prime Video. After the huge success of the latest MCU film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the franchise continues to expand. According to Deadline, the series would be showrun by Kelvin Yu and would adapt one of Tom Holland's favorite story arcs, with no title or release date announced. Sony is said to have granted adaptation rights, while representatives of Amazon MGM Studios and Sony TV declined to comment. This move follows the cancellation of the series "Spider-Noir" starring Nicolas Cage, despite good reviews and audiences.
