Sylvester Stallone said he was initially "mixed" about the biopic I Play Rocky. In a conversation at 92NY, he praised Anthony Ippolito, who plays a young him, stating that the close-up made him feel like he was looking at his own reflection. He shared the scene with his daughter, calling the moment "incredible". The film, which chronicles the making of the 1976 movie Rocky, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month and is directed by Peter Farrelly. Stallone said he will simply watch, offering his support to the young actor, but noted that the team has driven the project independently, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
