Sydney Sweeney joins the erotic adaptation of Sleepy Hollow

A new adaptation of Sleepy Hollow, part gothic and part erotic, sees Sydney Sweeney join the cast. According to Screen Wide, it is not a remake of Washington Irving's tale, but a transposition of Lindsey Anderson Beer's novel Hollow, slated for 2027. The story refocuses on Katrina Van Tassel, the character Christina Ricci played in Tim Burton's film. Sydney Sweeney, actress and producer, founded the company Honey Trap in 2026 to develop projects with Sony. Among her upcoming commitments are Scandalous!, in which she will play the Hitchcock-era actress Kim Novak, and Edgar Wright's remake of Barbarella.
