Netflix unveils its Japanese lineup for 2027: Parasyte, City Hunter and new series

Netflix is preparing a rich Japanese offering for 2027. On the slate, an all-new series Parasyte starring Kutsuna Shioli, the return of the film City Hunter in a sequel, and the creation of From NEET to Peak. Fans can look forward to second seasons of Last Samurai Standing, Tokyo Swindlers, Sanctuary, and Yu Yu Hakusho. Wataru Ichinose takes on a second leading role after Sanctuary, while Suzu Hirose continues her success thanks to the TV adaptation of Human Vapor and Asura.
