Hirayasumi teaser presented before the NHK premiere

The new teaser for the anime Hirayasumi shows Hiroto, 29, wandering around the Asagaya district, between his daily student job, moments shared with his elderly neighbor nicknamed "Granny", and the arrival of his cousin Natsumi, who has come to Tokyo for art school. The same day, a key visual and the list of the main voice actors were released. The series, adapted from Shinzo Keigo's manga, will air in January 2027 on NHK General TV. Viz Media and Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions (ShoPro) announced the release of the material, while studio +h., known for The Orbital Children and Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction, is handling the animation. No international broadcast plans have been announced yet, according to Variety.
