Avengers: Endgame Encore tops box office UK-Ireland

Avengers: Endgame Encore dominated the UK and Irish box office, opening at £4.1 m ($5.5 m). In second place, Sony's Resident Evil earned $3 m, bringing its total to $11.6 m. Paramount's action thriller Heart of the Beast starring Brad Pitt and J.K. Simmons settled at third with $2.8 m. Universal's Sense and Sensibility reached fourth, generating $2 m at launch. Studiocanal's animated film Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom closed the top five, adding $1.1 m for a cumulative $3.4 m. Warner Bros.'
