The cast is bolstered by a stand-up comedian alongside Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler.
Andrew Schulz joins the new version of Miami Vice ’85, slated by Dylan Clark Productions and Universal Pictures. He joins Michael B. Jordan (Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs) and Austin Butler (James “Sonny” Crockett) as well as Whitney Peak, Alden Ehrenreich, Camila Morrone, Danny Ramirez, and John Leguizamo. His role remains secret. The project follows the first adaptation of 2006, directed by Michael Mann, which received mixed reviews and a commercial flop, before being rehabilitated and seeing a Director's Cut released. According to Écran Large, the cast continues to grow, bolstering the reboot's prestige.
