Warner releases Gremlins 3 teaser and pushes back release

Warner Bros. has published a very first teaser for Gremlins 3, even though the film still has no official title, reports Écran Large. The few-second trailer shows the Mogwai and its little creatures, and the studio announced that the production benefits from the supervision of Steven Spielberg as executive producer and direction by Chris Columbus. The teaser was posted on Warner's X account.

The new installment arrives 42 years after the success of the original Gremlins in 1984, which earned $212.9 million on an $11 million budget, according to Écran Large. The sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Generation, only generated $41.4 million against an estimated budget of $30-50 million. Warner now plans a release beyond the end of 2027, pushed back from the original date.
