Vincent Cassel becomes Quasimodo in the new Netflix film

Vincent Cassel plays the famous hunchback of Notre-Dame in the new Netflix film Quasimodo. The platform released a first poster where light floods the cathedral and the silhouette of the character can be seen in the shadow of a pillar. The images also show the cast, without revealing Cassel's transformation. This version departs from the original text, offering a very loose adaptation and a transposition to another historical era. According to Écran Large, the project is part of the recent series of adaptations of French literary classics that Netflix is developing, after The Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo and The Stranger.
