Myster Mask returns to Disney+ with a new voice cast
Disney+ launches a new Myster Mask animated series, 35 years after the original.
According to Écran Large, Disney+ has commissioned a new animated series Myster Mask, the cult 90s justice duck, and has assembled a stellar voice cast. The original series, created by Tad Stones, aired from 1991 to 1992 and ran 91 episodes.
According to the official synopsis, the hero, held captive for 35 years in a parallel dimension, has been forgotten by everyone except a rebellious teenager, Duckie, who urges him to don his costume again. He will face old foes such as Sinister Mask and Megavolt, and reunite with allies like Flagada Jones and his adopted daughter, Poussinette Canardstein. This revival is part of Disney’s strategy to recycle its titles, such as DuckTales, Super Baloo, Tic et tac or les rangers du risque.
