Madden: Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale Headlining

The new sports film Madden, starring Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale, has unveiled its full trailer. The feature, directed by David O. Russell, returns behind the camera after American Bluff, Fighter and Happiness Therapy. Distributed by Amazon Prime and produced by MGM, the film is inspired by the creation of the Madden video game license, the equivalent of FIFA for American football. Nicolas Cage wears a 'fat suit' that recalls the appearance of John Madden, the legendary coach and commentator. Christian Bale plays Al Davis, owner of the Oakland team, a progressive figure in the NFL.
