First footage of The Hunt for Gollum on TikTok
Warner Bros. released the first behind-the-scenes photos of The Hunt for Gollum on TikTok.
According to Screen Large, Warner Bros. posted on TikTok, on the occasion of "Hobbit Day" on September 22, a short slideshow of behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming feature The Hunt for Gollum. The images show the Shire set and several background characters, including director Andy Serkis in action.
The film, directed by Andy Serkis - who also plays the title character - is currently filming in New Zealand. Warner Bros. says the theatrical release is scheduled for December 17 2027. The first images, presented exclusively on TikTok, give a glimpse of the Shire's scenery and the project's atmosphere.
