John Goodman and two video game stars in season 3 of The Last of Us
John Goodman, Laura Bailey and Ian Alexander join the cast of season 3 of The Last of Us on HBO.
John Goodman joins the cast of season 3 of The Last of Us. The actor plays Joey, one of the two "Heroes of the Highway". Laura Bailey plays Elizabeth, one of the group's leaders, while Ian Alexander appears as Paco, the other half of the duo. Alexander previously portrayed Lev in the video-game The Last of Us: Part II.
The series, adapted from Sony PlayStation's video-game franchise, follows survivors in a post-apocalyptic America. It is run by showrunner and executive producer Craig Mazin. HBO plans to air the new season next year, which could be the series' final.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the new storylines and the interactions between these characters.
