Director Nicolas Winding Refn presented his new sci-fi horror thriller Her Private Hell at the Cannes Film Festival last May. After a ten-year hiatus, he returns with his first feature since The Neon Demon (2016). Starring Sophie Thatcher and Charles Melton, the film is set in a futuristic metropolis where a deadly presence lurks. A young woman sets out to find her father, crossing paths with an American GI who wants to save his daughter from Hell.
According to AlloCiné, Drive remains the highest-rated film in the director's filmography, with an average of 4.1/5, over 57,300 votes and nearly 4,700 reviews. This success puts Drive at the top, even though Her Private Hell has just been released in theaters.
