Claire Scanlon reveals the 'Star Wars' nods in 'Love Hypothesis'

Love Hypothesis was directed by Claire Scanlon, who reviewed the biggest nods to Star Wars. Among the references are a song by Gracie Abrams, color-coded wardrobes and even a Stanford biology lab, recalling the iconic sets of Tatooine and Naboo.

The film, streamed on Amazon Prime on September 23, stars Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman in a fake date that becomes real. The screenplay is based on a 2021 fan-fic about Kylo Ren and Rey, titled Head Over Feet, which was later turned into a New York Times bestseller novel. Fans spot many Jedi-close references throughout the comedy.
