SCAD Savannah Film Fest unveils the 10 flagship documentaries of 2026
The directors of ten 2026 documentaries will appear at the Docs to Watch panel of the SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
The SCAD Savannah Film Festival and The Hollywood Reporter have announced the ten documentaries that will be represented by their directors at the 13th annual Docs to Watch panel. This event, now a key milestone on the Oscars road for documentary films, will take place on October 28.
Among the selections are American Doctor by Poh Si Teng (Watermelon), Avedon by Ron Howard (Netflix), Cookie Queens by Alysa Nahmias (Roadside), Everest: The Other Side by Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi (Nat Geo), The Last First: Winter K2 by Amir Bar-Lev (Apple), My Undesirable Friends: Part II - Exile by Julia Loktev (MUBI), Once Upon a Time in Harlem by William and David Greaves (Neon), One in a Million by Itab Azzam & Jack MacInnes (Frontline), The Trial of Alec Baldwin by Rory Kennedy (Abramorama) and You Can See Everything by Nathan Fielder & Lance Oppenheim (A24).
