Margaret Qualley and Sabrina Carpenter join Tom Holland in Fred Astaire biopic

Tom Holland portrays the legendary dancer Fred Astaire in Sony's upcoming biopic, directed by Paul King and produced by Amy Pascal. Alongside him, Margaret Qualley plays Adele Astaire, the dancer's older sister, while Sabrina Carpenter portrays Ginger Rogers. Qualley, a Golden Globe nominee, and Carpenter, a Grammy winner, bring their musical talent to the project.

"I am thrilled and honored to tell the story of Fred Astaire and his first dance partner - his sister Adele - on the big screen," said Paul King. He notes the challenge of bringing these 20th-century icons back to life, none of whose images of Adele have survived.
