Infinity Vision revives Avengers: Endgame in Extended version
Disney reissues Avengers: Endgame in an Extended version under the Infinity Vision label to set up Avengers: Doomsday.
Avengers: Endgame returns to theaters in an Extended version, displayed under the new Infinity Vision label. The strategy echoes that of 2022, when 20th Century Studios and Disney re-released the original Avatar in a remastered version with HFR to test 3D equipment in cinemas and generate hype before the release of Avatar: The Way of Water.
The same approach is used to lure audiences ahead of Avengers: Doomsday: an exclusive excerpt will be shown at the end of the screening and Disney hopes to reclaim the global box-office top spot, as happened with the Avatar re-edition which surpassed the earnings of Avengers: Endgame.
