Bride of the Barrier Master arrives on Netflix in January 2027

Bride of the Barrier Master will be produced by studio Troyca and directed by Tōru Kitahata, with Yūko Kakihara composing the series. The voices of Akari Kitou (from Demon Slayer) and Kikunosuke Toya (from Chainsaw Man) bring the main characters to life.

The anime is based on Kureha's web novels, illustrated by Bodax, which span seven volumes and have been adapted into an eight-volume manga published by Enterbrain. The story follows Hana, from a clan of barrier weavers, who hides her power to lead a quiet life, until the arrival of Saku Ichinomiya, the new head of the Ichinomiya clan, who is looking for a wife capable of supporting him.

Episodes will be available weekly on Netflix and other platforms starting January 2027, with the exact date yet to be confirmed.
