Disney+ unveils an exclusive preview of The Remarried Empress
A new featurette shows never-before-seen scenes and interviews with Shin Min-a, Ju Ji-hoon and their co-stars.
Disney+ released on Wednesday at 16 h KST a "special look" of The Remarried Empress. The featurette offers never-released footage and interviews with the main cast: Shin Min-a, Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk and Lee Se-young.
The high-budget series adapts the Naver webtoon of the same name, which has already amassed close to 3 billion views worldwide. It is positioned as one of Disney+’s major international titles slated for 2026.
In the story, Shin Min-a plays Navier, the Empress of the East, whose marriage to Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-hoon) falters when he falls in love with a runaway slave (Lee Se-young). Navier then finds herself drawn to the western rival kingdom’s heir prince Heinrey (Lee Jong-suk).
