Cliff Booth Returns: Fincher Directs Tarantino with Brad Pitt, Trailer Released
Netflix drops the first trailer for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood spin-off, IMAX debut Nov 25, streaming Dec 23.
Netflix unveiled this Sunday the first trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, and the pedigree is dizzying: David Fincher behind the camera, a script by Quentin Tarantino, and Brad Pitt reprising the role that earned him his Oscar in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Set in 1977: Hollywood's most laid-back stuntman has become a jack-of-all-trades for the studios, between projections, bar-counter work and more muscle-filled missions. The trailer throws a jab at Leonardo DiCaprio: if Cliff no longer doubles for Rick Dalton, it's because "Rick got too big". Cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Scott Caan and Holt McCallany.
The release will happen in two stages: in IMAX theaters on November 25, a first for a Netflix film, then on the platform on December 23. A Tarantino film shot by Fincher for Christmas - mark the date.
