Born into a family of actors in Mexico City, she first appeared on screen in the 1978 film The Last Escape and built her experience through leading telenovela roles such as Muchachitas, Alguna vez tendremos alas and La Mentira. A move to international work followed with a recurring part on PBS’s American Family, a guest spot on Showtime’s Weeds, and a stage tour of Cartas de Amor.
