Born in the Cliffwood Beach area of New Jersey, she began modeling for a denim brand at eight, left high school during her junior year to play Maggie Cory on Another World, and completed her education by mail after moving to Hollywood, where she soon secured the role of Cassidy Bridges on Nash Bridges, remaining until the series ended in 2001.
