J. Peter Schwalm

Emerging from Frankfurt's music scene, Schwalm refined his drumming at the Musikwerkstatt between 1989 and 1991 before founding the electro-jazz group Slop Shop in 1993. Early releases on Infracom attracted Brian Eno, leading to collaborations that yielded the albums Music for Onmyo-Ji (2000) and Drawn from Life (2001), a sound installation on Lanzarote, and a tour across Europe and Japan.
