Emerging from Rome's theatrical tradition, she honed her craft at the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico, completing her studies in 1988. Her first appearance on stage arrived a year earlier, when Luca Ronconi cast her in Amor nello specchio, a partnership that continued through numerous productions alongside directors such as Cesare Lievi and Massimo Castri.
