Raised in Los Angeles by his Belizean mother, he entered the comedy circuit in 2003 after years of coaching basketball and handling school office duties. A half-hour special aired on Comedy Central in early 2013, the same year he released his debut album, Technical Foul: Volume One, and he later delivered two Showtime specials, The Ugly Truth (2017) and Amerikan Warrior (2018).
