Emerging from a Portuguese-Dutch family in Aracati, Ceará, Queiroz entered the theatrical world at fourteen through the Teatro Experimental de Arte and later completed the inaugural Dramatic Arts class at the Federal University of Ceará. His early radio work at Ceará Rádio Clube and stage experience in São Paulo paved the way for a versatile career spanning film, television and theater.
