In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, an orphaned teenager living among scavengers meets an eccentric young woman and becomes drawn into a fight against a ruthless ruler controlling the region’s water supply. Inspired by a comic-book hero, the teenager takes on a daring new identity and sets out to protect his unlikely companion.
